PARKING & VISITOR INFORMATION

If driving, metered parking can be found along 8th St. There are also 3 “Loading Zone” spots right in front of the building that can be used for parking when visiting the gallery.

Free & metered parking can be found in the surrounding streets between Wilshire & James M Wood along Berendo & New Hampshire (highlighted on the map below in light blue).

There is also a parking lot right across from the Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station. The entire lot provides metered parking at $3 for the whole day.

If you’re walking from the station or the parking lot you have the opportunity to visit a few great spots on the way.

  • About Time – On the corner of Wishire / Berendo is one of Koreatown’s most aesthetic & trendy cafes serving equally pleasing drinks. Grab a corn latte on the way to us!
  • Immanuel Presbyterian Church – On the opposite corner to About Time Coffee is a beautifully striking church featured in the renowned music video “Helena” by My Chemical Romance.
  • Open Market – This superette serves the best sandwiches in Koreatown. They have delicious limited specials on Fridays only announced through their Instagram. Open Market also hosts an art show opening on the first Friday of every month.
  • Alchemist Coffee Project – Don’t miss out on one of the best cups of coffee or Matcha in Koreatown. Evident by it always being packed along with a second location opening mere blocks away.
  • KingYubu – If you need a quick bite before or after your visit this newly opened spot has been making splashes on social media with their jumbo Yubu pockets! Our favorites are the Cloud Egg & any that include Salmon.
  • Calic Bagel – Though not directly on the way, it is located only a short walk from the gallery & worth a visit if you’re in the area. Their garlic stuffed bagel has been going viral on Instagram & it definitely lives up to the hype. Their normal bagels & schmears are also superb. Our favorites are the Bacon & Chive or the Basil – Sundried Tomato.
